**These terms and conditions supersede any previous versions**
Once you have been accepted onto one of our courses you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit. The amount depends on which course you choose. Your place will not be reserved until your deposit has been paid and we reserve the right to offer your place to someone else if you have not yet paid your deposit. You will receive instructions on how and when to pay your outstanding balance from the partner TEFL school. Your final payment is subject to the terms and conditions your partner school set out.
In the unlikely event of cancellation on our part, you will be given a refund of all fees paid but we are not responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred. Any student cancellations will be subject to the terms and conditions of our partner school, which were accepted prior to payment of the final installment.
If your visa application is unsuccessful and we are notified with the corresponding paperwork from the embassy within 28 days of starting your course, you will be entitled to a refund of the course fees, minus the deposit. If you would like to defer to a future course, you can do so free of charge as per availability.
If for any reason you need to move to a new start date, you must email this request to firstname.lastname@example.org at least 30 days before the program start date in order to be sanctioned. All deferral requests are at the discretion and terms of the TEFL school in-country. Any deferral requests within 28 days of the course start dates will be dealt with on a case by case basis.
Your deposit will not be refunded at this time. If a second deferral is needed or desired then the candidate will need to pay an additional 50 GBP administration charge before the change can be made.
If the candidate is unable to make the date they deferred to, and hasn’t paid the administration fee for a second deferral before 30 pays prior to the deferred start date, they will lose their deposit fee and need to book the program again.
It is important to note that deferrals will only be allowed when changing to a later date for the specific program that was previously booked – it will not be allowed within different programs or countries.
Food, transport, accommodation and any postal or other costs are not included in the price of this TEFL course and will be covered by the student.
TEFL Connect reserves the right to change its prices, service or anything else featured on the TEFL Connect website at any time.
TEFL Connect does not accept liability for any loss or additional expense caused by delay or interruption to travel services, weather conditions, civil disturbance, industrial action, strikes, wars, floods, sickness or force majeure. Such losses or additional expenses are your responsibility. Force majeure represents unusual and unforeseeable circumstances such as war or the threat of war, riots, terrorist activity, civil strife, industrial disputes, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions.
TEFL Connect does not accept responsibility or liability for death, bodily injury or illness caused to the student and any claims shall be subject to English law in respect of any question of liability or quantum, and all proceedings shall be within the sole domain of the English courts.
Filling out our application form or enrolling into a program, means that you agree to accept all of our terms and conditions.
